How to Configure Windows Phone with Oracle Beehive for Email
This blog will provide basic configuration details to connect Windows Phone Operating System with Oracle Beehive to Send/Receive Emails.
In my previous blog Configuration: Android Mobile with Oracle Beehive for Emails described about the settings required and Thunderbird with Oracle Beehive i described how to configure Mozilla Thunderbird with Oracle Beehive for Send/Receive Emails,Calendar Data,Address book(Contacts).
Now i will show how to configure Windows Phone OS(Nokia Lumia) with Oracle Beehive to Send/Receive Emails.
On Home Screen, Select Settings
Select System Applications --> Select Email + Accounts (setup emails,contacts, facebook)
Email + Accounts --> Add an Account ( setup emails, Contacts, Facebook)
Add an Account -> select Other Account ( Pop and IMAP)
Other Account -->
Enter
Email address : abc.xyz@oracle.com
Password : Welcome1
Above steps automatically configures beehive server settings, just by entering email address and password, no need to enter Server name and Port.
you can cross verify the email settings
Account Name : Oracle
Email address : abc.xyz@oracle.com
Download New Content : Every 2 Hours
Download Email From : Past 7 Days
Your Name : abc.xyz
Incoming Email Server : xxbeehive.oracle.com:993:1
UserName : abc.xyz@oracle.com
Password : Welcome1
Outgoing SMTP Server : xxbeehive.oracle.com:465:1
Check Outgoing Server requires Authentication
Check use the same username and password for sending Email
Check requires SSL for Incoming Email
Chck requires SSL for Outgoing Email
Once above settings are completed , you can Send/Receive Emails from your Android Mobile.
